Delay log template
A delay log keeps one line for each delay or obstruction on site, from the moment it's noticed to the moment it clears. Fill in a line as soon as something stops the work, and keep it up to date each day until it clears.
Free, with no sign-up. A4 landscape, one page. The spreadsheet adds up the totals for you.

Keeping it in Dayworks
In Dayworks, each area's diary records what happened to every activity on the day, with any change from the plan, photos and the hours booked, and it's locked once a manager signs it off. That's the day-by-day record a delay log points back to.
